To Start off, this was amazing on a quick glance. with really looking at it now, i see a few minor errors. but not to worry they are easy to fix up. correct me if i'm wrong. the waves just don't seem right to me. it seems to me that there is a wave that is receding under the horse and one about to crash right beside the horse. now i have been to the beach before and waves do not act like that. i believe that the waves are the only tiny error, if any error at all, that is in this picture. on a better note, this is a very amazing picture. the horse itself is truly amazing.

Oooh, this is gorgeous! The colors and shading are phenomenal! I love all the different hues of the water. I noticed a few little (very tiny) things with the anatomy that bugged me though. Since you asked for a critique... :giggle:

The legs make are a bit short and make it look like a pony, which I guess is a good thing if you were going for a pony. :XD: The hind left leg is a bit awkward, too. I don't know if it's the way you shaded or not, but the hock looks weird and "weak" I guess, and same goes with the ankle. The stifle (upper hind leg) is a bit narrow. Those three factors, to me, make the leg look kinda like... spaghetti, I guess, if you don't mind me saying. :XD:

I really really really love this piece, though! It rocks!

Hi,
I'm not a member so I can't critique, but i'll try and do so here!
Anatomy and colourwise he is perfect- the colours are beautiful and attention to detail is spot on!
However his legs seem to be a tad too short for his large build, I understand how hard it is to get legs right and the best way to do it is to stand up and look at it from a distance and also from different angles. Also printing it out is a great way too.
One last thing- remember perspective. The hind right leg looks too long because you've put it at the same distance away as the front left- you need to shorten this leg so that it is not at the same level as the front. Looking at stock images for these levels is very helpful- remember the horse has width!
Best of luck with future drawings- and really well done on this one!

I love your detail on the waves, and on every drop of water on that picture, and yet again your mane and tail is stellar. :D
The legs look a little small for the body to me? And the right foreleg, the bend at the knee doesn't look quite right...
I love how the colors of the background and the horse compliment each other, especially how the mane and tail is in the same color scheme as the sand.

All around, a fantastic job. ^^

This is amazing!
The only thing I would say to do is soften the back and don't make it so sharp.
